Run Artificial Intelligence System only on computers that you own, or for which you have obtained the owner's permission. Some companies and schools have policies that prohibit using their computers for distributed computing projects such as this.
How Artificial Intelligence System Will Use Your Computer
When you run Artificial Intelligence System on your computer, it will use part of the computer's CPU power, disk space, and network bandwidth. You can control how much of your resources are used by Artificial Intelligence System, and when it uses them.
The work done by your computer contributes to the goals of Artificial Intelligence System, as described on this web site. Please note that the application programs will change from time to time.
Commercial Project
This project is a commercial project and it is not similar in this respect to other Boinc projects. The project will use some or all of the results, source code and information in future projects that will be commercial in nature, and that would provide profit to the company, Intelligence Realm Inc. If you do not agree to have your computers used for commercial purposes please do not join the project. The information provided on the site, as a result of running the program on your machines
may not end up being to your expectations. You do not need to join the project to have access to the source code or other public information posted on the web site. The main difference between a participant and a non-participant is the access to forums: a participant has the right to post messages, while a non-participant will not be able to post messages.
By joining the project you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company Intelligence Realm Inc. and its owners. By joining the project you also agree that you are doing this as a volunteer, on your own accord and you are not entitled to any compensation for your involvement in the project, financial or of any other nature.
Privacy Policy
Your account on Artificial Intelligence System is identified by a name that you choose. This name may be shown on this web site, along with a summary of the work your computer has done for this project. If you want to be anonymous, choose a name that doesn't reveal your identity.
If you participate in the project, information about your computer (such as its processor type, amount of memory, etc.) will be recorded by the project and used to decide what type of work to assign to your computer. This information will also be shown on Artificial Intelligence System's web site. Nothing that reveals your computer's location (e.g. its domain name or network address) will be shown.
To participate in this project, you must give an address where you receive email. This address will not be shown on the project's web site or shared with organizations. Artificial Intelligence System may send you periodic newsletters; however, you can opt out at any time.
Is It Safe To Run Artificial Intelligence System?
Any time you download a program through the Internet you are taking a chance: the program might have dangerous errors, or the download server might have been hacked. Artificial Intelligence System has made efforts to minimize these risks. We have tested our applications carefully. Our servers are behind a firewall and are configured for high security. To ensure the integrity of program downloads, all executable files are digitally signed on a secure computer not connected to the Internet.
The applications run by this project may cause some computers to overheat. If this happens, stop running Artificial Intelligence System or use a utility program that limits CPU usage.

Liability
Intelligence Realm Inc. assumes no liability for damage to your computer, loss of data, or any other event or condition that may occur as a result of participating in this project.

This project is not affiliated in any way or endorsed by BOINC and University of California or their associates.
Whole Agreement
This agreement represents the whole agreement between you, the volunteer, and the company Intelligence Realm Inc. and its owners. If you do not agree to any of the above terms of the agreement please do not join. Your participation in the project signifies the acceptance of this Agreement and its terms.
